
Since the age of 2, Ayan Abdi lived in the world’s largest refugee camp in Kenya. Her days were spent in the Dadaab refugee camp, where she taught biology to other students. The Student Refugee Program scholarship she was offered changed her life, allowing her to pursue an otherwise unattainable education. After a lengthy process to attain the scholarship, she was accepted to continue her education in Canada. Read her full story from the Washington Post at the link below.
