The Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union is hiring several students for a number of part time position positions ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week. All positions start on September 1, 2019 and run until April 30, 2020.  

Position Details

Members Services Desk Representatives:

The Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union is seeking students to join the TRUSU team at its Members Services Desk. The position is shift work between 9:00AM-10:00PM Monday through Friday.

Members Services Desk Representatives assist in administering Students’ Union services, communicate information about Union services and activities, and provide resources and support to Students’ Union Building users.

Applicants for the position of Members Services Desk Representative should have customer service experience, excellent communications skills, and a familiarity with the governing principles and operations of the Students’ Union.

Successful applicants will be required to participate in mandatory training on August 22-23, 2019. Applicants not available on those dates need not apply.

Common Grounds Barista

The TRU Students’ Union is currently looking for baristas to join the TRUSU team in its Common Grounds Coffee Shop. The position is shift work between 8AM-9PM Monday through Friday. 

Applicants for the position of Common Grounds Barista should have customer service experience, excellent communications skills, and a familiarity with the governing principles and operations of the Students’ Union. Food service experience is preferred but not required.

Successful applicants will be required to participate in mandatory training on August 22-23, 2019. Applicants not available on those dates need not apply.
